HACS push the bed out for Martin House

Over £7,000 has been raised for Martin House Hospice by the HACS team after taking part in this years Knaresborough Bed Race. Ripley based HACS were also one of the main sponsors of the race. Following the race's musical theme the team dressed as the cast of Grease and pushed their Greased Lightening bed around the circuit to finish in 58th place out of 86.
Whilst the HACS team might not have had lightening speed around the course they'll certainly help light up the lives of the children and families who rely on Martin House Hospice in Boston Spa for vital support and care.
HACS managing director, Mark Smith said: “This is the first time HACS have been involved in the race and what a superb event it was. The Knaresborough Lions do a fantastic job, the atmosphere was brilliant and most importantly our staff, suppliers and customers have helped us raise a huge amount of money for Martin House Hospice.”
